Some 500 lucky fans were able to get free tickets Saturday to the Tempe premiere of the new X-Men movie.
People began lining up Friday for a chance to get a ticket starting at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Kate Ray said she was in line by 6:30 p.m. to get her tickets.
"It's a once in a lifetime opportunity," she said. "It's Tempe -- whoever thought somebody exciting would ever come here. You gotta take advantage of the opportunity, if you have to sleep on the concrete for one exciting night, we're gonna do it."
